Hi Beth,

If you have a computer with iTunes I recommend you do an encrypted backup as 
this will give you the most complete backup/restore experience.

I want to purchase a new phone and make sure that when I transfer everything 
over to the new one, everything transfers over. I use downcast to listen to 
podcasts, but I have them all marked for streaming. I also have a lot of books 
that I have downloaded to voice dream. Will all of these transfer over if I 
back up with iTunes and or iCloud? I use both methods to back up.

Hi Beth,

Voice dream Reader has the option to save all your books in iCloud. I would 
suggest doing that before you back up your phone. That way, the books will 
download from iCloud into your new phone.

Since you're streaming your podcasts, I don't think you have to do anything 
special to ensure that you will be able to listen to them after you start using 
your new phone.
