I went through settings, found facebook and toggled off alerts. I am not sure where else to go in settings to turn it off. I went into the notifications section of settings as well and facebook wasn't even in that section. Yes, it is sending me text messages as well. This is driving me crazy. It used to be rare messages, but in the past month or so, i am getting tons and tons of messages and update notices. So, like I said, driving me crazy lol. I have learned the hard way that you cannot turn of Facebook notifications I did try disabling them on Facebook messenger And even if the Messenger suggests that I enable notifications I keep getting notifications even if I do not want them.
