Terrific app Chris. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. So much nicer than
the SirusXM app.

A couple of tips about the StarPlayrX app.

* After selecting a channel, on the channel screen, you will see a preset
toggle button. This is the favorites button, so just double tap on it to turn
it on and add it to your favorites.

* Now to find your favorites, just double tap on the All Stars choice on the
main screen. You will have 3 or 4 default stations that the app puts there,
but after that will be listed your favorites.

So once you find the stations you want, add them to your favorites, and then
there is no more searching.

Chris

For 99¢, it seems to be more intuitive than the SiriusXM app in many ways. I

It is far less cluttered than the SiriusXM app.

I totally agree with you, Richard. I love this little APP! I'm going to share
it with friends who are both blind and sighted because I think the developer

SiriusXM could learn something from StarplayrX. Put the favorites in numerical
order.
SiriusXM leaves the favorites in the order they were added; while StarplayrX,
slots them numerically, which I find makes finding a favorite much quicker.

Re: Alternate SiriusXM player, was about the NFL stream ...

2022-08-05 Thread Richard Turner
I am liking the app, and have figured out a couple things, but need to spend
more time with it.
First, the good news is you can get rid of those stations that are
automatically in your favorites; or as this app calls them, your Allstars.
Start the station playing, and simply toggle Preset to off, back out, do the
same with any other station you do not want in your Allstars.
Then, as Chris said, when you double tap on Allstars from that main channels
screen, you should be able to flick right through all your Allstars.
It did not hold a couple of my stations that I had set as an Allstar. I just
added a bunch, so I will see how it does over the next couple of days.

Hi Duane,

As I said, your favorites in the StarPlayrX app can be found on the channels
tab.
On that main screen, just swipe until you hear All Stars. Just double tap on
that and you will be on the screen with your list of favorites.

Hi all,I downloaded the StarPlayerX app. It is $1.39 in the Canadian App Store. When I enter my email in the app, it says that I have a bad login, and the app doesn’t let me proceed ferther. It needs an update. To support compatibility with working with inn-app purchases made with the SiriusXM app. That became available for Canadian users on August 1st, and for American users, some months before. The plans you can purchase are the platinum plan for $11.99, and there is a cheeper plan just for music. The platinum plan includes everything SiriusXM offers, from what I can tell. Regards,DanielOn Aug 5, 2022, at 5:59 PM, joseph hudson wrote:OK, so under the player, you can look under recent's and look at recent searches. Thanks. On the iPhone, when you open the APP, you only have two options...
login and channels. I'll try your suggestion using the search field. It's still

Thanks Joseph. I find my favorites in the regular SiriusXM APP, but not in the

easier way to access SiriusXM, especially for sports.

Re: Alternate SiriusXM player, was about the NFL stream ...

2022-08-05 Thread Chris Chaffin

To access your favorites:
On the main screen, you will see, All Stars. Double tap on that.
As you swipe across the screen, you will first come to 3 or 4 default channels
that are there, but keep swiping and you will come to your favorite channels.
And by the way, I even favorite all of my favorite sport teams channels. Just
makes it quicker to get started listening to that game.

Hope this helps.

Chris

Re: Alternate SiriusXM player, was about the NFL stream ...

2022-08-05 Thread Chris Chaffin
Hi Duane,

After checking into this, I think the answer to your question is yes.

For example, The channel The Pulse use to be channel 15, but is now channel 5.
And now channel 15 is a brand new channel called Mosaic. And the Coffee House
use to be channel 14, but is now channel 6. So channel 14 is now Yacht Rock
Radio.
So it seems that as channels move and new ones are introduced, the app also
makes these changes.

Hope this helps.

Chris

For 99¢, it seems to be more intuitive than the SiriusXM app in many ways.
I easily found the channel for Seattle Mariners and any other baseball

It is far less cluttered than the SiriusXM app.

Chris, one more question about the StarPlayerrx APP. When you've added a bunch
of channels to your favorites, how do you then access the whole list of
favorite channels? I can't seem to find all the channels I've selected. Thanks.

Re: Alternate SiriusXM player, was about the NFL stream ...

2022-08-05 Thread Chris Chaffin

A couple of tips about the StarPlayrX app.

* After selecting a channel, on the channel screen, you will see a preset
toggle button. This is the favorites button, so just double tap on it to turn
it on and add it to your favorites.

* Now to find your favorites, just double tap on the All Stars choice on the
main screen. You will have 3 or 4 default stations that the app puts there,
but after that will be listed your favorites.

So once you find the stations you want, add them to your favorites, and then
there is no more searching.
