RE: Asking again about consumer cellular
Hi Keith, That is correct. You just have to have a smart phone that has a sim card in it. You call CC up and they will send you out a sim card and you install it in your phone and give them a call to authorize it and your done. You can also purchase iPhones or other phones from CC but you can just bring your own smart phone and you can also keep the same number. Make sure when you call them to get the sim card that you tell them the cell number you want to use as it is setup on that sim card they send you. So as far as buying it from Target or other places that is up to you as I have not done that. As far as the reception goes it is as good as my wife's coverage and she is with Verizon. In the next month or so we are going to switch her over to CC as it is about half the price as Verizon. RE: Asking again about consumer cellular
My experience with Consumer Cellular has been very good. We bought our phones directly from Consumer Cellular so they came with the right Simm card and were easily activated. This was over 2 years ago. I have no idea which method is better.
