Re: Brail list Version 1.4

2013-04-01 Thread Surabhi Gupta
Hi,

For some devices (such as iPhone 4S), if there is no feedback even after
you visit the settings page, then please try this workaround: Turn per
letter feedback off and then back on. Now you should hear VO feedback with
the braille keyboard.

Alternatively, you could wait for the fix which will be released in a week.

Thanks,
Surabhi

I’ve listened to what my customers had to say and am happy to announce a
huge improvement in the Braillist text-to-voice engine. With VoiceOver on,
the voice feedback for characters and words is now brought to you by none
other than Siri. This enables typing at much faster speeds than previously
possible. The audio feedback has also been expanded to include deletions
and a more comprehensive set of symbols. Baraillist is compatible with
iPhone 3GS through the iPhone 5, iPod touch models from 3rd generation
onwards and iOS 5.0 later versions.

Visit http://braillist.info/ to find detailed instructions on using the
Braillist keyboard. Here, you can also read about other built-in amenities
such as a notes library, mappings library, ability to customize

Mr. Gupta, those settings are on as you describe and still nothing. I don't
want too but I will delete your app unless I can get some clearer directions.
With all due respect, I don't find the manual helpful. When I touch the spaces
where the dots are I should hear either VO or Siri tell me where I am. My
husband assures me that the dots are there; without his feedback I would not
even know that I am on the correct screen. Please help?
