Here's to jailbreaking. It adds simple features which have been
available in dumb phones for many years, but that Apple forgot to
include in their smart phones. Too bad iOS 6 jailbreaking isn't
available for most...Yet.

RE: Deleting multiple messages.

2012-11-10 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi,

If you have upgraded to iOS 6 the Action rotor is available in the main
Inbos of the messages app. This means you can just do a single finger swipe
down or up which will select "Delete" and then do a double tap anywhere on
the screen to activate delete. This puts focus onto the next message, do a
single finger swipe down or up and double tap again.

With a bit of practice and if you don't have to stop and listen whether the
message you are on is one you want to keep, it takes about 2 or at most 3
seconds to delete each message, so at 110 messages it would probably take
you no more than 4 or 5 minutes to delete them all. As far as I know there
is no other way which allows you to delete them all at once.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Deleting multiple messages.

I have 110 text messages in my message inbox. Can someone suggest how I can
delete them all? Deleting them one by one takes a very long time. Thank you
in advance.
