Hi Ed, I have 3 of the Radio Thermostat units and I am very happy with them. The app is fully accessible, there are a few little qwerks, but nothing that's a dealbreaker. Please use the link at the end of any message and go to the list archive, type Radio Thermostat in the search field and you will find some of the discussions. I posted some very detailed reviews/descriptions about it. As I said in my message, I don't have one yet, but I've just been following discussions on this list since I'm interested myself. I guess I should have said that it is accessible with VoiceOver, although I've read that it can be a bit tricky at times. I think Sieghard on this list has experience with this thermostat, so you can look for what he has had to say about this on list. His posts are usually pretty thorough and well written. Thank you for your very kind note and information. Yes, another member sent me very detailed info on that unit, and it's counterpart which I may be able to obtain at my local Home Depot. FYI, I contacted Nest, and they stated that the app is not useable with VoiceOver. Brad, The app is free to install. I installed and played with it earlier this year. It pretty much sucked. I contacted them about it and got quite a rude reply. Essentially they told me that they had no plans to address accessibility. I would suggest that you install the app and create an account to determine if any changes have been made over the past few iterations and determine for yourself.
