Re: Has anyone tried the roku app with voiceOver

2023-12-22 Thread Kim Crawford
The Roku app is accessible. It’s a lot easier to use the app, and it is to use
the Roku with the remote itself. The hardest part I find using the Roku for me,
personally is understanding what the lady is telling us to do as far as if
you’re activating the channel cause I can’t understand those which is telling
me as far as activation code on the TV when you’re going to activate something
because those are hard to understand which she’s explaining to us things, but
the That’s OK not too bad it is fairly straightforward once you signed in
there’s some tabs on the bottom right side of the screen, and they read out of
voiceover

I'd add an Apple TV or use the Apple TV from your phone.  Ruku has a
hard voice to understand.  You can give it a try.  It works, but I'd not
be able to use it for vary long myself.

Has anyone tried this app and if so, how accessible is it?

I tried the roku app several years ago and found it extremely inaccessible.

My wife and i are finally venturing into the world of streaming video (actually
I bought a roku for her for Christmas).
I did see that the roku device can be controlled using the roku app on an
iPhone.

Has anyone tried this app and if so, how accessible is it?
