RE: IPhone not saying number of messages.

2016-06-21 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Chris,

If rebooting your phone does not resolve the issue, then you will need to go
into the notifications area of your phone and set the badge app icon setting
to, on by doing the following:

1.
>From the system springboard, select Settings.

2.
Select Notifications.

3.
Select Messages.

4.
Set the badge app icon feature to, on.

Mark

Subject: IPhone not saying number of messages.

Hey all,

I have the latest update to IOS, and usually, I can have voice over say
messages, 4 unread messages.
Now, it just says messages, and I have to go in to the messages app to see how
many I have.
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue? It really isn’t a
big deal to me, but I was wondering if there is a setting that I can change, or
if I’m not the only one that is experiencing this. I have an IPhone 5S.
Chris

2016-06-21 Thread Jeffrey Shockley
Hi,
I had this problem earlier today. I restarted my phone completely, turning it
off and back on again, and it fixed it so far.
I hope this helps,
Jeffrey
