Re: Is either the CBS News app or the SixtyMinutes app accessible?

2014-05-26 Thread Brian Fischler
Hey CBS is pretty inaccessible, ABC has gotten a little better but still not
there, NBC is more improved, and both the CW and Fox Now have made some small
improvements and playing around with the apps you can get shows to play, but
none of them are fully accessible. It's a shame how awful communication
companies are with their accessibility.

  Hi,

I’m looking for the ability to watch SixtyMinutes on my own time.

Does anyone know if the full SixtyMinutes program is on the CBS News app,
and if the app is accessible?

The SixtyMinutes app is $4.99. Does anyone have it or know if it’s
accessible? Also, do you know if it’s an annual charge or a one-time purchase.
It wasn’t clear from the iTunes Store description.

  Thanks. Keith

Re: Is either the CBS News app or the SixtyMinutes app accessible?

2014-05-19 Thread Wayne Merritt
I had the CBS app for a long time. When I tried to access it a month
ago I found that it was very inaccessible. I was able to move from
show to show but there was no indication of which show I was moving
to, or ability to jump to a certain show. So, the CBS app is no longer
on my phone.

Hello all,

I believe that you can also access the CBS podcasts via the Downcast app. I
am also trying to determine if the CBS app is accessible, and I honestly
haven't had time to try it out yet.

If all you need is the audio, you can subscribe to the podcast and get
it every Sunday night using downcast or another podcatcher.
