I downloaded this new version of the app. I imported a PDF. I tried to do
something with PDF but there was no option to export it in plain text format so
that I could put it into a Pages document. When I save the document I only have
the option of PDF or KNFB format and when it says the document the app crashes.

Hi List,

I just upgraded my KNFB Reader to version 3.0 which dropped yesterday and have
a couple of comments to make and wanted to hear of others' experience with this
new version.

In the Camera settings, KNFB Reader now contains an option to set the default
file type for recognized documents. The two options are PDF and KNFB. I'm not
positive but it seems that when PDF is picked, the scanned document might be
formatted. I scanned a one page document and got the usual very good scanning
results but my limited vision seemed to indicate that the page might also have
been formatted like the original item. One thing I did have a problem with was
when I select the Files button from the bottomline menu, KNFB Reader closes. It
is still running in the App Switcher but this seems to be a bug.

I'm curious what others have experienced with this new version of KNFB Reader
and whether you're getting a similar result when executing the Files button.

Thanks in advance.
