RE: One computer with two phones?

2018-04-25 Thread Cher Bosch
Yes, I run two phones on one PC using iTunes. I use the same apple id for both;
but you can create separate apple IDs. Then you would need to enable family
sharing if you want to share music or apps across both phones.

I believe you should be able to do this, but one way that definitely works and
which I like best is to simply make another Windows account on your computer
for your Dad, then log into that account, start iTunes, add the music he likes
and go from there.

Can one on Windows, have ITunes set up, to handle two phones, each phone with a
separate apple ID for especially symcronizing music and backing up/restoring?
If so how would this be done? because I'm trying to connect a 4S that used to
be mine (it's now my Dad's with his Apple ID and everything) but when I connect
it to my ITunes to the computer, the hpone thinks it's me that wants to
restore, synchronize etc. What would I need to do then, to set ITunes so the 4s
realizes it's my Dad's ID and not mine? And aso in terms of music, my Dad likes
different music than I, thus what's the process for when adding my Dad's albums
via the computer's Music/ITunesMedia/Automatically add, so the music synchs to
my Dad's ID and not to mine? Thanks for any info or tips you guys can give.
