The native mail app is not, infact secure, for my work too. Because of this reason, i’m using all of my accounts, on outlook. Well my phone is my own personal phone but I want to have my work email on it too just in case I'm out of the office. My work doesn't seem to have an issue with this. I don't think it's any more complicated than Thunderbird or the IOS Mail app. It does work a bit differently though, so it might appear complicated to someone who's new to it. In IOS for example, you get an in box with some preview lines. VoiceOver will tell you how many messages are in the thread. If you double tap a message or a thread then it'll open up. In a thread you can flick up or down to move from message to message. At the top of each message, you can perform some actions on the individual message, like delete or move it. At the very top, you can take actions on the entire thread, like delete all messages in the thread or move all messages to a folder. You also have some buttons on the bottom to reply or forward a message.
