Yeah, it takes a moment to populate those fields. Two things to try here. 1. Try tapping on the fields, or 2. Try switching from day view to week view. 3. Try switching from add data back to dashboard again. Egun On, Lagunak! Sure, but only on the 5S or newer. On the older devices, standby mode does not power the necessary sensors or processor. RE: Pedometer Apps That Work with Locked Screen? was RE: Pedometer App on iOS 8?
I think I might have figured out my problem. I normally mention my iPhone version if I think it is relevant to the post but forgot to do so with this thread. I'm running an iPhone 5 and believe I saw a post on another list that indicated that an iPhone 5S or higher was needed to automatically track steps with the pedometer built into the iOS 8 Health app. Can someone confirm this? I tried calling Apple iPhone Support but got someone who was not helpful who suggested I reset my phone. I always know when I have a rep more clueless than me when they trot out that age old remedy. I know that resets are required from time to time but I'm pretty sure that's not the case here. Thanks. One final thing, the feature only works on an iPhone 5S or later. It requires the separate coprocessor that was introduced into the 5S.
