RE: question about tune in radio

2014-05-31 Thread SSEric
Shane, what about a station that doesn't show up in the search.

For instance, there is programming I want on 680.KNBR, which broadcasts the
Giants baseball. When I search for KNBR, 680.KNBR, etc., what comes up is a
station across the bay that broadcasts the Oakland A's and other sports talk
stations in the area but not the one I want. This station is available on
Ootunes, so not sure why not on Tunein.

Might you have any insight!

Eric

I had no trouble finding KNBR, but if you do Follow it, this is the message you
get in your list of favorites:
680 | KNBR - Not Supported, Restricted by the broadcaster
It used to be that you would get that message when you did the search.
So, no KNBR in TuneIn.

If you want to follow KNBR in the hope of listening to a Warriors or Giants
game, you are likely to be disappointed, because of the broadcast contracts
between the teams and their respective organizations, i. e. the NFL or MLB.

Re: Question About Tune In Radio

2013-04-19 Thread Wayne Merritt
Are you using the new version of TuneIn Radio? I have had an issue
come up multiple times when trying to play a station that I had
stopped, but not being able to. I have had to close the app and reload
it in order to get everything working again. This is different from
before the update since before, I had no trouble playing stations that
I brought up from my favorites or after having already stopped the
station. I think this might be an issue with the update but can't be
sure. I'm using TuneIn Radio version 3.51 on an iPhone 5.

Thoughts?

Have you saved any recordings on the iPod with TuneIn? If so, this could be
what is taking up more space. You might delete the recordings you don't want

Good luck,
