Hi Wayne,

Yes, this app can be used independently of the Mac radium app. However,
this is the developer's first iOS app release. Their first try (mid-late
September) had accessibility issues. The next version with VoiceOver fixes
came out a few weeks ago. And this version is from a few days ago. I
consider this quite usable, but I think the interface will get even better
over time. At present, you can still do more with the Mac version of the
app. -- but that's had VoiceOver accessibility for some years now. And so,
you can sync the Mac operations up to the iOS version, and currently do a
but more.

This app is still free in the U.S. Store, and quite usable, separately. But
if you want to wait until it has more features, you may have to get a paid
version at a higher price later. I also note that Les and others are
discussing how to use SiriusXM subscriptions just from the iPhone Radium
app,

This app is still free in the U.S. Store, and quite usable, separately.
 But
if you want to wait until it has more features, you may have to get a

Well, everyone has a SiriusXm account. The user name and password you enter
on-line gives you access to your account where you can pay your bill, see
the Radio ID's for your receivers, etc. But, I presume you need to have
approved SiriusXM Internet Radio in order to use the Sirius XM account on

RE: Radium iPhone app is free today (November 24, 2013)

2013-11-25 Thread Liz and Sammie
The online account is where you log in if you need to manage your account
and such. The Internet Radio account is different. When you hit listen on
line the player will come up, and you have to have a user name and password
for that which is different.

Re: Radium iPhone app is free today (November 24, 2013)

2013-11-25 Thread Mary Otten
I agree about the desirability of being able to group stations into folders.
The more favorites you get, the more necessary such groupings are.
I am also having trouble activating the sync feature on my iPad. It worked
great on my iPhone. But it's dimed on the iPad and I don't know why.

I agree with the note below. However, I was wondering if it is possible to

be an ability to sync devices but no matter what I do, I cannot get it to

Since it was free, it was worth a try and I'm glad I grabbed it.

Re: Radium iPhone app is free today (November 24, 2013)

2013-11-24 Thread Esther
Hi Wayne,

Yes, this app can be used independently of the Mac radium app. However, this
is the developer's first iOS app release. Their first try (mid-late September)
had accessibility issues. The next version with VoiceOver fixes came out a few
weeks ago. And this version is from a few days ago. I consider this quite
usable, but I think the interface will get even better over time. At present,
you can still do more with the Mac version of the app. -- but that's had
VoiceOver accessibility for some years now. And so, you can sync the Mac
operations up to the iOS version, and currently do a but more.

This app is still free in the U.S. Store, and quite usable, separately. But if
you want to wait until it has more features, you may have to get a paid version
at a higher price later. I also note that Les and others are discussing how to
use SiriusXM subscriptions just from the iPhone Radium app,

Cheers,

Esther
