Re: Tune-in App Behaving Badly
When this happens I do a three finger swipe up from the status bar to get to the control center, then flick to the right with one finger until you reach play pause, which is after media controls. > On Apr 14, 2020, at 8:57 PM, Sieghard Weitzel wrote: > > And to add to Richard's observations, if a 2-finger double tap does not work > which it should, you could simply open the Tune-In app and stop playback, > easier than rebooting the phone. > > -Original Message- > From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of > Richard Turner > Sent: Tuesday, April 14, 2020 5:55 PM > To: viphone@googlegroups.com > Subject: RE: Tune-in App Behaving Badly > > If you have done a 2 finger double tap, that will start audio unless you are > answering a phone. > You may also want to make sure raise to wake is off under display and > brightness settings. > > > > Richard > "There's a nap for that." - an anonymous cat in a window in Portland, Oregon. > > > -Original Message- > From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of > Rebecca Degeorge > Sent: Tuesday, April 14, 2020 5:52 PM > To: viphone@googlegroups.com > Subject: Tune-in App Behaving Badly > > I have the Tune-in app, the free version. > > > Now and then, when I pick up my iphone (SE), or just seemingly out of > nowhere, a station I've listened to ages ago will start playing. Re: Tune-in App Behaving Badly
It also happens on this iPhone 6 with Ootunes. In the many years I have had Ootunes on here, it probably hasn't happened ten times, but ironicly, it happened yesterday afternoon. Maybe one or two minutes after I have stopped using the phone and locked the screen, Ootunes will start playing a station, not necessarily the one I was playing the last time I was using it. There is no way anybody will be able to reproduce this bug, it happens so randomly and infrequently. I call it an annoyance. Now that I think about it, it may have happened a time or two with the music app, also. Hey, it is a new Apple feature, my device so wants to entertain me. And to add to Richard's observations, if a 2-finger double tap does not work which it should, you could simply open the Tune-In app and stop playback, easier than rebooting the phone. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Richard Turner Sent: Tuesday, April 14, 2020 5:55 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Tune-in App Behaving Badly If you have done a 2 finger double tap, that will start audio unless you are answering a phone.
