Read2Go, with the number 2 instead of the word t o, and all as one word. FYI, Voice Dream can display braille, since Bookshare's daisy files are all text. So, you have the same braille you get from any text displayed on the screen. I don't believe Read2Go can offer anything better. The Bard app (free) claims to read brf files, so you could give that a try instead. Hi Fanus, Yes, you can import audio files into Downcast from your computer, the music app, or Dropbox and listen to them. So if you had an audiobook with multiple files, you could import all the files into one podcast and listen to them sequentially. Martin, I heartily endorse this app. I can read Bookshare books on my victor, too, but I dislike that voice. Read2Go includes Acapella voices; my personal favorite is Heather. I find it much more listenable than Victor's limited offerings for BookShare. You're right about the expense, bnut my husband and i both got it and really wouldn't be without it. it's a wonderful app in all honesty and worth the money. Hello, The app is called Read2Go, and it works very well. You can use it to search for books from Bookshare and download them to your device. You can read them with Voiceover or a cappella voices built into the app. I use a braille display frequently with it, and in the current version, it is doing a great job remembering my place from one time to the next when I read. Read2Go also plays unencrypted DAISY books with text, audio, or both. So Yes, if you want to read DAISY books and use Bookshare frequently, I think it's worth the money. Yes, NLS books are in a DAISY format, but they're encrypted differently than bookshare books. Currently there is no way to play them on an iDevice, though an app for playing them is being developed. Hi, Martin. I have the app, and it is definitely worth the money. It's called Read2go. You can download books from within the app. You can also transfer other Daisy books to it through iTunes, including unprotected audio Daisy. If you mean, whether Read2Go will support them, the answer is no.
