RE: how do you set the phone to stay in portrait? mode
Hi, Unfortunately, the control center is the only place you can lock the phone. If you touch the status bar which is at the very top of your phone with one finger, then 3 finger swipe to the bottom, you will get to the control center. There is a lock orientation in here. You want it checked. Hth Jenn TO THE WORLD YOU ARE SOMEONE, BUT TO SOMEONE YOU ARE THE WORLD! From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Gail the U. S. I was working with a text message and the phone said button was to the right. I used to have it locked, so I didn't have to worry about how I moved the phone. I hope this makes sense. LOL! I think you meant a 3 finger swipe up to access control center. A 3 finger swipe down accesses the notification center. Re: how do you set the phone to stay in portrait? mode
Ok, I got it that time. thanks I did find the setting, and turned it on. I thought the control center was where it was, but wasn't sure, if there was another way to do this. I had an Iphone four, and this was done differently. I can get the notification open just fine, but the control center is a bit more difficult for me to do. - Original Message - From: Jennie Facer To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2014 12:21 PM Subject: RE: how do you set the phone to stay in portrait? mode Hi, Unfortunately, the control center is the only place you can lock the phone.
