Re: iOS app to export contacts to a text file?

2019-03-29 Thread KliphnShari Miller
It depends on what your trying to do. I would recommend a app called,
“contacts backup”. It’s free, and it creates a csv file of the contacts on your
phone, emails it to you, when you want them back, you just tap on the file on
your phone, and it puts them in contacts

It took some trial and error.

Hi Adam,

I found this, thanks to your question. It exports to Excel, but it was a great
help to me in sorting out which old contacts were listed just under Company,
and which were listed by last name.

Since Siri doesn’t know what a company is when you only have the name in the
Company field, I was able to find those contacts easily and edit them.

It is free, but the Excel file wil have a request to buy the full version of
LibXL, which I plan to ignore, as that is the developer’s responsibility, since
he/she apparently is using that to export as Excel.

Hi all,

I used to use an app called contact print that would export your contacts to a
txt or html file.

It is no longer being supported and isn't in the app store.

Does anyone know of an app that could replace it?

TIA.

Hi all,

I used to use an app called contact print that would export your contacts to a
txt or html file.

It is no longer being supported and isn't in the app store.

Does anyone know of an app that could replace it?

TIA.

RE: iOS app to export contacts to a text file?

2019-03-10 Thread Richard Turner
Hi Adam,
I found this, thanks to your question.
