Hi Sandy, yep I'm having your same issues my friend.  I too struck out with 
talking goggles which is sad because I used to use that app a lot and 
absolutely loved it.  But it doesn't work now.  So you're not alone.

Hi,

I just tried Goggles. It was slow, but it did identify a CD and speak the word 
Mute, which referred to the Mute button on a microphone. So it seems to be at 
least somewhat functional. I turned Flash on first. I imagine the degree of 
lighting makes a difference.

response within a couple of seconds when I pointed it at things. I'm using a 6s 
Plus. What are you using?

I never did have luck with talking goggles. I'll see how I do with this one. 
It's free now so it can't hurt. Oh, no, I think it was free yesterday. If
