I found the easiest way to it is to SIRI read your emails or, something long. 

While you are listening to whay are reading, adjust the volume with theside 
buttons.

Yes, ask SIRI something which will make her speak for a longer period of time, 
e.g. ask her to look something up on wikipedia or similar. Once S
IRI is speaking adjust the volume to where you want it with the volume buttons 
and that’s it.
