when you want on demand you can keep the native app.

I called and found I had the premium service but would need to upgrade to all
access for the app but there would be no extra charge. It was confusing to me

supposed to save me money but they’re recommending I might want to go to

offer other promotions and discounts.

I couldn’t make a decision. Help me with my confusion.

demand content is now accessible with VoiceOver on the Mac. That is one of my
favorite aspects of the service. So if I miss a show, I can catch it later.

Hi Bill. The best way to find out if you have All Access is to call them. Then
you can ask how much it’ll cost to have All Access.

My current subscription rolls over in a couple months for the next year, and
I’m trying to make sure I have enough money cleared so the card it’s billed to

I’m hoping I already have the sufficient level of service I need to make it

Re: sirius xm radio app

2012-10-22 Thread Steve
Actually, I have found it is better to go into App Switcher and just close
the app. When I have tried pausing it before, it seems that it consumes
more of my remaining battery.

As far as just using the receiver, that's fine except there is exclusive
internet content that I enjoy with the iPhone. I wish they didn't have that
shutoff thing after 90 minutes unless you hit the Continue button again.
But, I am sure they don't want people hogging their bandwidth and basically
letting it stream unattended.

Hi. Sometimes the two finger double tap doesn't work. I've had to go in
the app and manually press the pause button. Unfortunately there's no stop
button. I find the app fairly accessible once you get the hang of it, but
with that being said, I'm thinking of cancelling the internet subscription
and just use the receiver because I don't like how once you've subscribed
for the thing and if you're not using your iPhone, it times out every 90
minutes.

RE: sirius xm radio app

2012-10-22 Thread Joe
Hi, I'm the reverse and actually want the regular radio content, not the
Internet. There are some news channels that are only available on the
regular radio. So are there accessible XM receivers out there? If so, please
e-mail me off list so as not to clutter the list with an off topic message.
Thanks!--Joe

RE: sirius xm radio app

2012-10-21 Thread Cristobal
For the short time I played with it, I found it to be fairly accessible once
you got the hang of it. The five buttons at the bottom are something like
channel, categories, favorites, settings, etc. Someone whose still using the
app should be able to give you a more accurate description.
I wasn't all that wild about the service to keep it, but as far as the app,
besides the unlabled buttons that can be fixed once Apple addresses the
labeling element bug in a future iOS update, then getting around it and
doing things like selecting favorite channels or shows will be that much
easier.

Hello evryone,
I just downloaded the sirius XM app yesterday, but, it appears that there
are many things I can't do. At the bottom of the screen voice over says
button, button, but does not say what they are. I have figured out a couple
of them, and I have added stations to my favorites, but I'm wondering how
much luck you all have had with the app. Any feed back is appreciated.

Thanks so much. I had the download and the favorites figured out, but wasn't
sure of the others. One more question, when you are finished listening to XM,
how do you stop the music from playing?

Re: sirius xm radio app

2012-10-21 Thread BBS
Hi. Sometimes the two finger double tap doesn't work. I've had to go in
the app and manually press the pause button. Unfortunately there's no
stop button. I find the app fairly accessible once you get the hang of
it, but with that being said, I'm thinking of cancelling the internet
subscription and just use the receiver because I don't like how once
you've subscribed for the thing and if you're not using your iPhone, it
times out every 90 minutes.
