Thanks Richard. Great minds really do think alike. I always clear the APP switcher before locking my phone, but I don't always remove the wired earbuds I've been using lately. I have the same problem with the Audible app as well as the Amazon Music app. I had been just closing the app by double clicking my home button and then doing the 3 finger swipe up. Then I started totally backing out of the book or music first, then shutting down with the swipe. Dwayne, Good luck with the music problem. The one thing to do is to make sure you have cleared the Music app, or any other audio playing app, from the app switcher before locking your phone.
