Re: voiceoverquestion

2012-10-14 Thread BBS
Hi Robert. If he sets this setting to not echo anything, he'll still be
able to hear the clicks signifying that the character was entered.
Remember, you don't hear characters read out to you in a password
field. If he has touch typing on, Voiceover will still read the
character before he releases his finger off that certain character.

RE: voiceoverquestion

2012-10-13 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Shane,

You can change this by going to Settings General Accessibility
Voiceover and Typing Echo. Set it to None or Words and VO will not
echo the character's twice and once you are there there are independent
settings for the virtual keyboard and for Bluetooth keyboards.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi,
Is it possible to change the way Vo says letters while typing? I mean, when
you select the letter t, and Vo says t after you lift your finger, can you
stop Vo from saying t a second time?
Thanks.

Hi Shane. In the Voiceover settings, go to typing feedback and select
nothing. HTH.
