Hi Robert. If he sets this setting to not echo anything, he'll still be able to hear the clicks signifying that the character was entered. Remember, you don't hear characters read out to you in a password field. Hi Shane, You can change this by going to Settings General Accessibility Voiceover and Typing Echo. Set it to None or Words and VO will not echo the character's twice and once you are there there are independent settings for the virtual keyboard and for Bluetooth keyboards.
