Re: Apple Pay cash

2017-12-12 Thread Kelly Pierce
A debit card can be added for Apple Pay Cash. It is free to use with a
debit card. After I scanned my card and entered my expiration date and
three digit card code, I needed to call my financial institution and
provide my account number and the amount of the last two ATM
withdrawals. this required me to login to my online account to provide
this information so my account could be verified. I could not remember
this information. I was surprised about all the info they wanted me to
recite on the telephone.

By now, if a bank or brokerage does not support Apple Pay, it is now
time to find a new financial institution. Apple Pay Cash will be
highly useful for individual payments. I took a look at Facebook
Payments and the terms are awful. Facebook prohibits business or
commercial transactions. If it detects or learns about one, the
transaction will be reversed and the sender is subject to a fee that
Facebook does not disclose. This means that if your neighbor buys a
some furniture from you for $25, Facebook could deem it a business
transaction and not only reverse the charge but zap you with fees that
exceed the transaction value. Apple Pay does not have these
restrictions or fees. Kelly

Hi,

If you have added a credit card to Apple Pay, you can use that to pay people,
but there will be a fee. If I remember right, the fee is 3%, but I might not be
correct about the amount.

Best,
Anna
