Maybe I should have read all the emails first, but you do not pair  your focus 
14 under Bluetooth. You have to go to General and then accessibility and go 
under braille. Have you tried that already? If so, go ahead and close your 
settings and restart your phone. A lot of times that helps.

Figured it out. I was completely connecting it wrong. Lol. I was going into 
settings bluetooth, instead of settings, general, accessibility, voiceover, 
braille. My bad.

Yes, that’ll fix it. This was something I found out soon after I got my 5S, 
when trying to connect to WiFi (which was quite buggy in the iOS 7.0.x 
release), having to go into Airplane Mode first, etc.
