Re: Keeping a recorded Imessage
Hi Terri, By default, there is a 2 minute timer after which the message self destructs for both sender and receiver. For sender this starts after message is sent and for receiver this starts once he has listened to the complete message. Now if you don't want the audio messages to self destruct then Go into the Settings, tap on "Messages," and select "Expire" under Audio Messages. Switch from "After 2 Minutes" to "Never," and all audio messages you send and receive will not self-destruct. Hope this helps Pramit On Tue, Apr 7, 2020 at 4:15 AM Terri Stimmel wrote: > hello everyone, > > > I was wondering something. > > When someone records you an iMessage, why can you sometimes keep them? > > But then other times you can't? Re: Keeping a recorded Imessage
I thought you could keep them forever. When you go to messages in settings, the choices are 30days, one year and forever. I am not certain if this includes recorded messages.
