Re: Looking for music app with cross fading
Hi Rick, Sorry, I'm a bit slow keeping up with my email over the weekend. Hopefully you've figured it out but if not. There are two ways to skip tracks from within the app. 1. Click the play button on the track that is not playing, then use the crossfade slider to switch to that track. 2. The second way is to double tap and hold on either the Left Waveform or Right Waveform depending on which one has the currently playing track, then drag to the end of the song. Ofcourse if you have headphones with an iPhone controler, you can use the controler to skip. To add songs to the queue, tap on the add left track button and when you select the playlist or album you will see a More button, clicking on this will give you the option to add all to queue. You can then flick up to get the delete option when navigating in the queue. I find this is the easiest way to customise your queue. Its easier than adding songs individually. Check out the EQ: I have always been looking for custom EQ on the iPhone and although other apps have had EQ, they have been very poor, but not this one. The only bummer is that it doesn't appear you can save a preset. Hope this helps, Brett. RE: Looking for music app with cross fading
Bret, thanks so much. This was of tremendous help. Think I've got it down now. The wave form ddragging is really slick. This app is well worth the $2.99 once you get used to it. A littlte bit of a learning curve but worth the effort. I haven't played with the EQ too much but was able to gather that it was quite intuitive with the low freq slider being at the bottom and the higher freq at the top. It would be nice as you said if one could save the EQ settings to presets. I've been mostly using AutoMix which works great doing exactly what I needed. Re: Looking for music app with cross fading
I wish one of the services like Spotify or Pandora would do a good job at this. Spotify attempts to crossfade, but it's kind of hit or miss. Also, it is the most varied on the volume level, being louder than most other stuff on the phone when hooked up to a dock most of the time, to some songs being soft. - Original Message - From: Rick Alfaro rick.alf...@gmail.com To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2015 2:28 PM Subject: Looking for music app with cross fading I'm looking for a music playback app that can do cross fading and even normalizing if at all possible. Hi, Yep, the only real issue is when changing between Spotify and your local music library. This was fixed a version or two ago, but is now broken, you need to toggle voiceover off now to choose the option you want.
