You can also perform the scrub gesture to close a folder after you tagged an 
app to be moved. The other way is perfectly fine, but the scrub gesture is 
faster and it's just another quicker way to accomplish the same thing.

Can someone tell me is there a setting that I can change so that when I try to 
do the press and hold to get my apps in editing mode I don't get that share

Rather than pressing home to exit the folder, try the two finger scrub
gesture. That will close the folder without taking you out of editing
mode.
