RE: effectively using braille screen input
Podcasts have their place, but when it comes to instructions that one needs to follow I am much better with them where I can read them on a braille display or on paper. I suppose it would be like mi sighted cousin who cannot understand speech synthesizers at all but if she sees it on the screen she can figure it out, sometimes anyway. She is very visual, sounds don't seem to make as much sense to her as they do to me. I'd never attempt a math course without Braille in some form. I like text guides too! They're easier to go back and read when you've missed something; and you can do this as many times as you need.
