Amen. I'm getting frustrated with Siri. But understand this is coming from the 
silly woman who purchased an Apple Magic keyboard without knowing if it would 
"really" work with my iphone. It's just that I'm getting tired having to deal 
with Siri's craziness.

The story is that with much more use of AI, Siri will improve in iOS 18. I'm 
sure it is a priority for them to improve it. It keeps getting worse for now.

No improvement at all, been messed up for a long time. You could call apple accesibility but others have and they are aware of it. I'm guessing its not to their financial advantage to fix it.
