RE: voice-over problem.

I have Screen Recognition in my roter, so I can twist the roter around to 
screen recognition and flick up and down to toggle it on and off for each app.

There's also a toggle in Settings -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver -> VoiceOver 
Recognition where you can toggle screen recognition off. I assume this turns it 
off across your device and it no longer becomes an option to turn it on. I'm a 
bit fuzzy on this, and I know other on this list know more about how this works 
than I do.

To add it to your roter, you can go into the VoiceOver settings -> roter -> 
roter options and turn it on. I think it can be turned off for most people and 
most apps, but I did turn it on when I learned the media controller in the 
SiriusXM app became usable with screen recognition. Before that I had it 
toggled off.

Hi,

My guess is that voiceOver's volume is turned all the way down. Press Home to 
open the lock screen, and flick up with two fingers so that VoiceOver will 
start reading the screen. Then press the volume Up button until you can hear 
VoiceOver.

 is talking, and when I touch the siri window, voice over talks fine. Even 
 though, if I close the siri window, and i try to onlock the phone, voice over 
 is not talking anymore. I don't know what is going on with this phone, but 
 voice over stop talking when I try to read something out the siri window. I 
 know that it is voice over, because the voice sound different. But if I try 
 to unlock the phone, and I press home button to close the siri window, and 
 find the unlock place, voice over is not talking. More over, if I click on 
 the powel button, to lock the phone, voice over doesn't say anything, if I 
 press the power botton again, voice over is not saying the time either. Oh, 
 speach is on, I checked it, and speach is on.
 any advice?

You don't have to press anything after you type in your search. Results will 
come up as you type.
