The Braille Me has had many very poor reviews.
It is a very limited display.
I would not recommend it.

No, as I said, hopefully it will be available before the end of the year, but
time will tell.
The 20 plus costs $699.
The 40 will cost about $1399.

Pretty much all Bluetooth enabled braille displays will connect to all of those
devices.

However, I find Bluetooth not very reliable on Windows.

Ubt, the braille displays will also be able to use a USB cable to connect.

I personally really like the Orbit Reader 20 Plus.

The Orbit Reader 40 will be out hopefully this year if the shipment issues
caused partly by Covid get resolved.

Are there particular features you want, number of cells, etc.?

Re: Recommendation for a Braille Display for iDevices?

2020-11-04 Thread Richard Turner
Hi,
Orbit Research makes the Orbit 20 Plus and the regular Orbit 20.
The plus version can convert .txt files to braille.
I am going to assume that if your iPhone is set to Arabic, you will be reading
Arabic. But to be sure, write to techsupp...@orbitresearch.com

It may also support Arabic in the stand-alone/note taking mode though I know
you are not as interested in note taking.
But ask them directly to be sure.
