Resetting all settings

2014-10-02 Thread Blind Treasures
Does anyone know if you reset all settings does it also get rid of your apps
passwords? Thanks for any help.

Re: Resetting all settings

2014-10-02 Thread Alex Hall
No, only settings. However, there's a bug in the current version of iOS that
will cause all your iCloud documents (well, most of them) to be erased if you
perform such a reset. This only happens if you have iCloud Drive enabled, at
least according to reports so far.

Resetting All Settings Fixed It For Me Re: Notification center, anyone having this problem?

2014-09-30 Thread Teresa Cochran
I decided to do this, because I can't get pickers to work, and that's a much
more serious problem, as far as I'm concerned. This seems to have fixed the
problem for me. Go into settings, general, reset, then choose reset all
settings. This will reset your Voiceover and network settings but won't erase
data.

Teresa

The prescribed way of doing this is working for me. I double tap confirm
clear section with one finger and then immediately I hear the confirm clear
section repeated and I stay right there or check to make sure I am in the
same place and double tap it again. Most of the time it appears to me that
the focus remains there so by just double tapping again I complete the
process. It would be interesting to know why some people have this problem
and some don't but that seems to be true with most bugs or problems. For me,
this is working on both my 5S and 6+.

For whatever reason, that method doesn't work for me either. How odd.

 Hi Tom,

As Jonathan pointed out, it used to say “Clear Section” and you double
tapped and then you got “Confirm Clear Section” and you had to double tap
again. Now it just says “Confirm Clear Section” and you double tap then
make sure you double tap again on the Confirm Clear Section for the same
notification of course and it should work. What I mean is that if you
double tap Confirm Clear Section for Messages and then you double tap a
second time but you are actually tapping on Confirm Clear Section for Mail
then of course it won’t work.

For me at least a fast one-finger triple tap also works 100%, but double
tapping and double tapping again also works. Maybe others can try this and
post feedback to see if it seems to work for everybody or not.

 Regards,
 Sieghard

Clear section. I get the confirm clear section, but double tapping does
not work. It was mentioned here to double tap again or tripple tap.
Still nothing. It was mentioned here It was a labelling problem, but I
cannot confirm clear section. Using iPhone 5 S on IOS 80.10.2
