Hi Sieghard and others I converted the rintone to an MP3 with format factory. Then I used iRinger to reconvert it to the M4R. It must have been a glitch when the file was first converted. I tried the ringtone in it's original state and got the same thing you did, Sieghard. Hello Sieghard, I'm not Tom but what I was going to do for her, yet Tom beat me to it, was to simply import the ringtone into a sound editor such as Garage Band or, in my case, Gold Wave. Then, simply resave the file as an AAC / ringtone file. I'm guessing that is what he did. I am looking forward to his reply.
