Just wanted to tell you that Siri seriously impressed me today for the first

because things didn't seem to work well. However, today I needed to remove
a recurring event from my calendar (Fantastical) and
didn't quite see how to do it! IN the end, I asked Siri in the best way I

My other strange experience was asking Siri for directions to 56th Street and
Washington in Phoenix, Arizona. She gave me directions to Washington State

  Hey everyone,

Just wanted to tell you that Siri seriously impressed me today for the first
time in a while. I really stopped using him/her because things didn't seem to
work well. However, today I needed to remove a recurring event from my
calendar (Fantastical) and didn't quite see how to do it! IN the end, I asked
Siri in the best way I knew how (can't remember exactly the wording I used)
and, Siri did it! I then said, Thanks, Siri. You did well, and I got a
human-type response to that also! Smiles

I do hope that Siri becomes easier to use and that we can express things in
more ways, rather than having to learn so many of the ways to ask Siri to do
something.

Honestly, I don’t use Siri a lot but when I have it has been generally
good. My truly funny experience was that one morning I dictated a message
to my late husband but I forgot to tell Seri to whom to send the “Are you
awake, if not why not!† She came back with “Don’t wake me up! It is
4 in the morning and I do not want to wake up.

I did it on April first 2012 and every year on April first if I set an
alarm for 4 in the morning, as I did when working she would say “your
alarm is set but don’t wake me up!

BTW, my late husband was in the hospital which was why I was trying to wake
him up so I could tell him something I had read after I had talked to him
 the evening before.

My other strange experience was asking Siri for directions to 56th Street
and Washington in Phoenix, Arizona. She gave me directions to Washington
State instead, it was 400 miles away! My cousin and I had to laugh. By
the way, her android phone did exactly the same thing!

 Hey everyone,

Just wanted to tell you that Siri seriously impressed me today for the
first time in a while. I really stopped using him/her because things
didn't seem to work well. However, today I needed to remove a recurring
event from my calendar (Fantastical) and didn't quite see how to do it! IN
the end, I asked Siri in the best way I knew how (can't remember exactly
the wording I used) and, Siri did it! I then said, Thanks, Siri. You did
well, and I got a human-type response to that also! Smiles

I do hope that Siri becomes easier to use and that we can express things in
more ways, rather than having to learn so many of the ways to ask Siri to
 do something.
