Put links into your rotor. Then when within the text, turn the rotor to links,
and do a one-finger swipe up or down until you find the link you want, and
double tap.

2021-09-07 Thread Richard Turner
In text messages, it can be rather tricky.
But, while in that message, turn the rotor to links and flick down.
You should land on it and can double tap to activate it.

Well, that CNN link has heading level 3 on almost every line.
Turn the rotor to lines after you get to a heading and flick down and you will

Re: A Safari question

2017-02-17 Thread Ann Larson
Thanks. This particular one I had trouble with a couple of days ago was a
button, and, according to my sighted husband, occupied an extremely small part
of the screen. In fact, he had to get a magnifier to see it! I'm sure a younger
person could have seen it but he said he had a lot of trouble. When I finally
actually located it on the screen, there was no wiggle room whatsoever, and
when I double tapped on it, nothing happened, just as when I was attempting to
do it with the keyboard.

Aann,
I sometimes efind that it ehelps to turn the rotor to characters and move on to

issue of focus with VO.

hope this helps you, Sandy

If it's possible, swipe up with three fingers to get to the next page of the
website, and flick backwards till you reach the button to double tap. This
helps also for filling in edit boxes that you might not be able to write in
initially. Though you may be hearing certain things, the voiceover focus might
not be there, which is why you do this.

For the most part, the buttons work on a web page using Safari, but
occasionally I have clicked on a button that is labeled...such as a checkout

sighted person clicking on the button, it works fine. I am wondering if there

Hello again all,
So with in Safari, under bookmarks, I know that you can access your history of
visited searches and webpages… However, I also know you can hold down the back
button and another history menu pops up. But it seems to me that They seem to
differ a little bit with each other. And my correct in making this assumption?
I'm just curious to know do they differ with each other, and if they do and
what ways? Or are they pretty much the same thing?

A Safari question.

2013-02-07 Thread liz and sammie
I have a Safari question. I am attempting to go to a web page on Safari. I
type the address in the proper field, but the buttons I am hearing VO saying
are clear text, cancel, back, forward, and return to web page. There is
supposed to be a go button so I am told, but I am not finding it even when
swiping. Is there a step I am missing or is Safari a pain in the butt?
