Samantha is disgusting no matter what platform she is on. I use Alex on my phone these days tried the female SIRI but sounded like Samantha to me and the speed is way different on my original iPad Mini, increments are weird, it is either too slow or too fast. I can't use Alex on that unit. Hello, everyone. I have just updated my iPhone 5 from iOS 8.3 to 9.2, and I have noticed that Samantha's voice has somehwat changed. The voice sounds significantly bassier, a quality particularly noticeable when listening through headphones. The voice sounds less natural, to my ears, anyway. Can anyone confirm this observation? Hi Craig, Sometimes when you update, you end up with the high quality voice, which does sound less natural, to my ears anyway. You can check in settings to see if you are using the high quality voice or the compact one. As others said it has changed. Because of this I started using the Male Siri voice. I find that it sounds a bit more natural but I still wish we had other options.
