There are definitely times when screen recognition can be useful, I recently
got another robot vacuum and the app is pretty much totally inaccessible
without using screen recognition. While it’s good that Voiceover offers this
feature, this is something that should not be necessary. Developers should fix
the accessibility issues with their apps. I have emailed the company that makes
the robot vacuum that I purchased and told them about this issue but I will not
buy any more of their products unless they fix their app. Can I use it with
screen recognition? Yes, but I shouldn’t have to.
