Are you talking about the shake to undo setting?
I always turn that off.

Hi all,

OK, I've been taking instruction from Jonathan's book and set out to do some
practice on moving, renaming and deleting files. I haven't found the experience
that enjoyable but am getting there and have managed, at least sometimes, to
achieve my goal. I have also attempted every action I can to get into the new
way of working. (By tomorrow I may well have forgotten it all!)

Anyway, I have a few things to say and would be glad if others chime in with
their experience also.

First, I have found it's really essential to keep the phone as straight and
still as possible or the editing procedure is all too quickly terminated. Maybe
I need to alter that setting which I can't now recall it's name but think I can
find it. Any advice? I have also found that, quite often, the process of
renaming a folder has been interrupted and terminated before I'd finished.

One thing that I have noticed on two or three occasions is that the keyboard
has not been present when I've got the instruction to rename. Has anyone else
seen any of this behaviour, please?

I have one more question about the file app. Does anyone else find it a little
arduous when you are looking on your phone, see a file you want to use in some
way, only to learn that it's in the Cloud, so you then need to copy it,
presumably, before writing into it. Perhaps someone could confirm this
behaviour? I am also interested to know if others are having problems in
identifying where their files are exactly, e.g., Cloud or on the phone.

Please excuse these (possibly) elementary questions but they're based on my
practice earlier today. I look forward to any replies on this one.
