RE: Turning off Apple Watch Voice Over sounds
You mean like the little clicking noise when you are navigating around the face of the watch? Have you tried setting the silence mode to see what happens? I've not tried it my self but silence on the phone stops clicks etc, But not voiceover so may be it does the same on the phone. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Ronald van Rhijn Sent: Wednesday, 27 October 2021 4:56 am To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Turning off Apple Watch Voice Over sounds Hi Simon, Like Renee said, its about the bleeps and bloops from Voice Over when navigating, waking up, pushing the crown accidently enz. Re: Turning off Apple Watch Voice Over sounds
I believe what is meant are the sounds heard when navigating through items, selecting them, etc. (as opposed to speech or any other notification or system sounds). I hope this helps to clarify things. > On 26/10/2021, at 11:53, Simon A Fogarty wrote: > > What do you mean voiceover sounds? > > > -Original Message- > From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Ronald > van Rhijn > Sent: Tuesday, 26 October 2021 5:36 am > To: viphone@googlegroups.com > Subject: Turning off Apple Watch Voice Over sounds > > Hi, > > Is it not possible to turn off the Voice Over sounds on Apple Watch (6) like > we can do on iPhone? > > Thanks, > Ronald > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your V iPhone list moderator is Mark Taylor. Re: Turning off Apple Watch Voice Over sounds
Hi, I’ve been wondering the same thing to, since I recently got a new Apple Watch. I can only get near silence on it, by silencing the speech, but can’t get complete silence like sighted people can get. I hope that they Will change this in the future. > On 26/10/2021, at 07:38, Ed Worrell wrote: > > Hello, > > NO, it doesn’t seem we can. Hello, NO, it doesn’t seem we can. I have been asking Apple Accessibility for this for a long time now.
