Unlocking My IPhone
Hi friends, Has anyone had any experience unlocking an IPhone 5s with 02? I have just spoken to them and they say that they have unlocked it but I need to connect to ITunes with a non o2 simm card to complete the unlock process. This seems a bit of a faf, if I don't put in a non o2 simm for a while, is there a time linit where the unlock won't work any more? Steve. This message may contain confidential information. No, there is no time limit. The phone has been unlocked. Putting in a different provider's SIM confirms the unlock. unlocking my iPhone after installing IOS version seven
Hi okay maybe I wasn't explaining what I would like to do correctly. Ever sense I upgraded my phone to IS version seven. When I unlock my phone I have to enter A 4 digit code or pin that I must have set. When I was installing the upgrade. Can you disable this so that you can just unlock the phone the way you used to before the upgrade? Or do you have to totally reset the phone and then if you have backed up to the cloud like I did. Go and redown load all of your apps and things and then go and reinstall the upgrade again? I really don't want to restore my phone from the gound up again ust to get rid of the future. I know what my 4 digit pin is. But it would be nice if you had the choice whether to use it or not. So if you can just make your phone be able to be unlock with out having to enter a pss code or pin number. How do you make that happen? Before I up graded I backed my phone up to the cloud and then installed the up grade. I really don't want to loose my contacts and all just to get rid of this future. But in A way it is handy cause of someone takes your phone. Then they still can't unlock it and use it with out your for digit pin that you have used. To be able to unlock it after you press the lock and unlock button. So any and all assistance is welcome with this. I went to settings and general and swiped right and didn't see where to turn that pass code or pin on or off. It just said pass code lock immediately. So when I hit that button it wanted me to enter my pass code witch I didn't do. So how do I stop it. For when I go to unlock the phone having to enter A 4 digit pin just to unlock my phone? -- Casey -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Re: unlocking my iPhone after installing IOS version seven
Simply turn off passcode. Go to Settings, Then to General and then to Passcode. It will say it is on, double tap on it, enter in your passcode, then double tap where it says turn off passcode. -Original Message- From: Casey Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2013 3:09 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: unlocking my iPhone after installing IOS version seven Hi okay maybe I wasn't explaining what I would like to do correctly. Re: unlocking my iPhone after installing IOS version seven
You can set the iOS device to open without using a unlock code. Go to settings, general, pass code lock. You will then need to enter your passcode. One of the first buttons on this screen is turn passcode off. Double-tapping this button will disable the passcode on the iOS device. Re: unlocking my iPhone after installing IOS version seven
Enter your passcode at the place where you stopped in order to get in to the place to turn off the passcode security. If you think about this, it makes perfect sense. If you unlock your iDevice and lend it to someone, they cannot disable your passcode without knowing your passcode.
