Hello Steve,

Make certain that the watch is not in Airplane mode.  This can happen, from 
time-to-time.  If the watch is in Airplane mode, the scenario you described 
will happen.

iPhone not talking to my watch  Hi,
The watch app on my iPhone is telling me it can’t find my watch.  I checked all 
the settings I can and all seems normal.  The watch was in a drawer and not 
used for a few weeks.  I charged it.
The watch says it is pared, nothing will transfer.  Nothing will update from my 
phone.
I’m hoping I do not have to unpare it and start over?

Hi Steve,

Try restarting both the watch and phone. If that doesn't help, reset network 
settings on your phone on the Settings/General/Reset screen.
