RE: continuing issue with twitter and twitterific

2016-09-05 Thread M. Taylor
Hello David,

I recommend that you (1) login to your Twitter account via a web browser and
(2) check your app permission settings.

Once you're logged into Twitter, from within the Settings area, you will see an
area labeled Apps. In the Apps area you will see all of the apps that have
permission to use your account. From within this area you can revoke, or
modify the type of permission each app is granted.

Worse case scenario, revoke permissions from troublesome apps and then, grant
those permissions later, from within the specific app.

For example, if I could not tweet from the Twitterific app, on my iPhone, I
would go into my Twitter account and completely revoke the Twitterific app's
permission. Then , if necessary, I would remove the ap from my phone. Next, I
would re-install the app and, at the prompt , grant the app permission to
access my account.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Mark

Subject: continuing issue with twitter and twitterific

In the past I have written that both apps on my Iphone 6 plus would not allow
me to tweet simultaniously.
Now I find I cannot tweet on twitterific, and when I open the native twitter
app, it shows a connect button.
When I activate the button I am then able to tweet on the native app, but not
on twitterific.
What does the connect button mean? How could the native app be disconnected?
Any ideas, advice is. appreciated.
