Now, I'm not eligible to to upgrade my iPhone 5 to either the iPhone 6 or 6

As I understand it most of the U.S. MobileCarriers (ATT, Sprint,
VZW) are offering this TradeIn Value to customers, who purchase a NEW
Apple iPhone 6 or Apple iPhone 6+ with the exception of T-Mobile, who
I believe is offering to beat the other MobileCarriers TradeIn deals.
The only catch as I see it is you have to enter into a 2 Year
Contract, Enter into their respective Early UpGrade Plans (ATT's
Next, VZW's Edge, etc.), or purchase the MobilePhone at its Full
Retail Price after the TradeIn Value has been applied to the NEW
Apple iPhone, and this has to occur on or prior to Tuesday, September 30TH.

Now I hear that I should go with the 6 when I replace my phone, but

$200 for any IPhones that have been on their service plans within the

Re: eye phone trade in programs.

2014-09-26 Thread Wayne Merritt
It depends on the carrier, but this time of year where there are new
iPhones out, many carriers would be very willing to trade with you for
a newer phone. It seems like a larger major carrier, like Sprint or
Verizon, would be more able to do this than the smaller carriers. I
mention this because it sounds like you are with a smaller carrier. I
have heard that some of the smaller carriers may support the iPhone,
but only up to a certain model, like up to the 5S. In other words,
they may not support the sixes yet.

Wayne

Hi Pam,

If you have a 4S and Sprint is giving you $200 towards a 6 ior 6 Plus
then you should totally go for it, that is an awesome deal. Don't worry
about iOS
8 bugs, yes, they are there but while the list is long there are a fair
amount of bugs which may not even affect you depending on how you use
your phone.

Regards,
Sieghard

Sprint is telling me that they will give $200 for any IPhone that is
traded in for the 6 or 6+. Last night I went into the Apple store
they told me they would give me $115 for my 4S.

If you have a phone that you are trying to sell to get the $200, it is
coming from Apple not Sprint.

Pam, this happened when people started using IOS 6 and 7. Yes, I am
sure there are bugs and Apple will put out a release to fix many of
them. I don't usually upgrade for a few weeks to see what people
are saying. When I do upgrade it seems to work well. You will
always hear the bad things about something and not so much about the
good.
If you can afford it then go ahead and get the 6. I always upgrade
my phone when my contract runs out so I have another year but I will
get the most current phone when I upgrade.

If Sprint is offering you a bonus of 2 hundred bucks then go for it.

2014-09-26 Thread Lori Dent

HiMich,

I also haven't updated my iPhone too ios8 yet either because of all the
bugs in ios8. I will also wait until all the bugs are fixed before updating
to ios 8.

Now, I'm not eligible to to upgrade my iPhone 5 to either the iPhone 6 or 6
plus until January 2015. In January I will upgrade my Iphone 5 to a iPhone 6
or 6 plus but I haven't decided witch one I will upgrade to though. Take
care.
