Re: game questions, iAssociate 2

2014-02-19 Thread Wayne Merritt
There is no real easy way to get back to the word that you want to use
a hint on. I have found that even if I can't find the first word I
wanted a hint for, I find another that works equally well. Having a
Braille display has helped me play the game though since after I
finish writing and use dot8 chord for enter/done, my focus doesn't
jump to some other part of the screen. I have also discovered that if
you finish a level you can post your completion to twitter or
facebook. There doesn't seem to be an accessible way to do this
though. I mean, you can go to the levels tab, scores, achievements,
and then find the level, double tap on it, and find the share/post
button or link there. However most of the levels listed there are
older levels. The new ones haven't shown up there, not the last time I
looked. As a result, I will often get my sighted wife to finish the
levels for me after I pass the 90 or 95 percent complete point. This
has the added advantage of her finding all the random blank
associations, and saves me from having to continuously swipe/flick
just to find one or two blanks, which can get frustrating.

Regards,
Wayne

I know I'm late on the reply on this thread. After you complete a certain
number of levels, like 20 or 25, many of the game's associated start to get
obvious and repetative, for instance cat to dog, cow to milk to cheese, and
mouse to cheese are some of the many frequent associations throughout the
levels. I originally tried to only get levels I thought I could complete
easily, but have found that levels I thought would be easy were hard, and
vice versa. Some answers I get my wife to look up. Still, it is a very fun
and addictive game, and the only game that i have played for over a year
 and
 continue to play.

hard such as Bonus Land as you can not guess the word by guessing one

use hints myself as like I said, unless it is a bonus word, you can
