RE: has the google chrome app become totally useless for voiceover or is something wrong here?
Sometimes people are so busy that they do not have the time to respond dear Sieghard and therefore sending a fast short response to stop the answers. But here is the solution: for a reason I do not know, screen recognition was set to on for google chrome on my phone and like that feature does with 70% of my apps and phone it made the app totally inaccessible. I could even not set the setting to off via the normal way in the rotor but had to do it focussing the appswitcher take focus on google chrome and then toggle the setting to off. Hi Davy, My guess is that Screen REcognition is on. Open Chrome and do a two-finger quadruple-tap to bring up VoiceOver quick SEttings. Find Screen rEcognition, and turn it off. Same here. The only issue I am having is with my google home and apple music. I get the message the song/artist is playing... but nothing.
