RE: how to write the at sign in an email address using a braille display with the Iphone 6
The other way to do this is to press dot 4 then Dot 1. That inserts an at sign. I am using a braille sense YouTube with the Perkins style keyboard. Is there a certain input I need the braille display to be in and a certain input or output I need the phone to be in? For example, do I need to use 8.braille or 6.real? I currently have it set for US English braille display, not UEB. Re: how to write the at sign in an email address using a braille display with the Iphone 6
Try using Dot 4 then dot 1. Re: how to write the at sign in an email address using a braille display with the Iphone 6
Hi, Are you using 6-dot or 8-dot Braille input on your display? I'm using a Braillenote Apex with 8-dot input. Though it means more keystrokes, I find that I can be much more precise and don't have to worry about any on-the-fly Braille translation weirdness. So I'm writing in Computer Braille, and, to capitalize any letter I'll press the backspace key along with the letter to be typed. The same goes for the at sign. Instead of typing dot 4 for the at sign, I add the backspace key and that does the trick. Hope this helps some.
