Hi,
I am curious how you get braille to scroll automatically. What is the command
for this? Thanks.

Re: iBooks: slowing down automatic reading with braille.

2012-12-31 Thread Teresa Cochran
I tried slowing down speech rate to zero, turning speech off, and using dots
1-2-3-5-chord to read from cursor. The Braille speed doesn't change. I wonder
if it would be different if speech were kept on and turned down all the way.
I'm going to try that.

Re: iBooks: slowing down automatic reading with braille.

2012-12-29 Thread Mary Otten

I don't have a braille display, but I have been told that what you have to do
is slow the speech rate down to match your braille reading speed, and then you
will be in business. Not sure what happens if you have turned speech off, but
that is what I was told by somebody who said they successfully auto scroll that
way.
